Mission Trails Grasslands
More Information
Overview
A 7,220-acre open space preserve in San Diego, Mission Trails Regional Park is the sixth-largest municipally owned park in the United States, and the largest in California. This is San Diego baby! Perhaps more than any other family-friendly mountain bike trail in the county, this ride gets points for the most laughter and giggles. Wide open trails, smooth, sweeping descents, and the feeling of being nestled by surrounding peaks and canyons, come together for a delightful experience.
The open nature of this trail network provides opportunity to open up the throttle for fun and friendly group competitions without ever feeling overwhelming or serious. Mom, dad, brother, are in for a roller coaster. . .with a little pedaling work of course.
