How it went

Rough go. Struggled. I could blame it on the early morning mountain bike ride with Piper. I will.

My base ride is an 11 mi loop that includes the Mission Gorge Rd, Fanita Dr, or Jackson Dr climbs; depends if it’s clockwise or counter-clockwise. There are a number of hard climbs along Mission Gorge Rd, fingers, let’s call them. We’re going to get five of them to make a hand. In today’s route, I left the Twain Ave and Fanita Dr climbs on the table. Including them would make 6 fingers. Still a hand. Did anyone see the animated David movie? Did anyone notice Goliath had 6 fingers? If it’s good enough for biblical artistic liberty, it’s good enough for me.

A 6-fingered hand is on deck. . .
