Laguna Meadow
More Information
Overview
Tall reeds, cool breeze, butterflies, and beautiful lupine and lilac flowers create a sense of escape in this unique county destination. Jefferey pines and black oak line the perimeter of the 900-acre wet meadow, while the sights and sounds of waterfowl, migratory birds, jays, and woodpeckers add to the wonder.
A nice change of scenery any time of year, spring through early summer are best for wildflower viewing. Good thing we offer two full weekends in June to catch the beauty of creation. Combine the surroundings with one of the county’s best family-friendly trails, and you’ve got yourself an outdoor rec experience you won’t soon forget.
Finally, the tour ends with lunch at the trailhead. We’re not talking about a warm and floppy peanut butter and jelly sandwich here. Our post-ride meal, with fresh ingredients and options for all dietary preferences and requirements, ends the tour with the right kind of comfort. Grape toss face smash might be the best part!
